Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients and prepare the vegetables by washing and slicing them. Slice the tomato and onion into thin rounds and chop the lettuce roughly. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the chicken breasts in this mixture and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Bacon

While the chicken is grilling, cook the jalapeño bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of grilling, place the Swiss cheese slices on top of the chicken breasts to melt.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Sandwich

Once the chicken is cooked and cheese is melted, layer the grilled chicken with Swiss cheese, jalapeño bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles on a sandwich bun or your preferred bread.

  2. 7

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired, serve immediately, and enjoy your All Hens On Deck!
