Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather and prepare all ingredients by dicing the onion, carrots, and potatoes, and mincing the garlic.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Vegetables

Add the diced onion, carrots, and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

  4. 4

    Add Potatoes and Seasoning

Stir in the diced potatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Bring to a boil.

  5. 5

    Simmer

Reduce heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

  6. 6

    Finish with Peas

Add the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  7. 7

    Serve

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
