Dumplings

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with boiling water until a shaggy dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. 3

    Shape the Dumplings

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle. Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal.

  4. 4

    Cook the Dumplings

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the potstickers and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet, cover, and steam for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the potstickers hot with sweet teriyaki sauce and sriracha on the side.
