Shrimp and Cocktail Sauce
Method
Preparation and Serving
- 1
Poaching the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the lemon slices and Old Bay seasoning. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add the jumbo shrimp to the pot and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- 2
Making the Cocktail Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well until combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- 3
Serving
Drain the shrimp and arrange them on a serving platter. Serve chilled with Jake’s House Cocktail Sauce on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley.
