Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Salmon
Pat the salmon filet dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with blackened seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- 2
Sear the Salmon
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for 4-5 minutes until a dark crust forms. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- 3
Make the Orange Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine orange juice and honey. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it reduce for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 4
Serve
Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle the orange glaze over the top and serve immediately.
