Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the top sirloin steak from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season generously with steakhouse shake seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of steak butter and let it melt. Once hot, add the seasoned top sirloin steak and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften. Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Drizzle with remaining steak butter for extra flavor.
