Preparing the Pulled Pork

Season the Pork
In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a spice rub. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Prepare the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). You can use wood chips like hickory or applewood for a flavorful smoke.

Smoke the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

Shred the Pork
Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces. Mix in the apple cider vinegar and BBQ sauce to combine.
