Pork Loin

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Pork Loin Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. 2

    Season the Pork Loin

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Pork

Rub the marinade all over the pork loin, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for more flavor).

  4. 4

    Cook the Pork Loin

Place the marinated pork loin in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).

  5. 5

    Rest the Meat

Once cooked, remove the pork loin from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

  6. 6

    Slice the Pork

After resting, slice the pork loin into thin pieces for the sandwich.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

While the pork is resting, slice the buns in half and toast them lightly if desired.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayo and 1 tablespoon of mustard on each bun half. Layer the leafy greens, sliced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and the sliced pork loin on the bottom half of the bun.

  3. 9

    Complete the Sandwich

Top with the other half of the bun and press down gently to secure the fillings.

  4. 10

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately with your choice of side.
