- 2
Crush the Graham Crackers
In a food processor, process the graham crackers until fine crumbs form.

Mix the Crust Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well coated.

Form the Crust
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan firmly.
- 5
Bake the Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Filling Preparation

Mix the Filling Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, and key lime zest until well combined.
- 7
Pour the Filling
Pour the lime filling into the cooled graham cracker crust.
- 8
Bake the Pie
Bake the pie in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
- 9
Cool the Pie
Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
Topping Preparation
- 10
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- 11
Add Powdered Sugar
Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
- 12
Garnish the Pie
Spread the whipped cream over the chilled key lime pie and sprinkle with additional key lime zest for garnish.
