Sautéed Vegetables

Method

Gyro Meat Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Meat

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb and ground beef. Add the finely chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and mix thoroughly until combined.

  2. 2

    Shape and Grill

Form the meat mixture into oval-shaped patties. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.

Roasted Red Potatoes

  1. 3

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

  2. 4

    Prepare Potatoes

In a large bowl, toss quartered red potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

  3. 5

    Roast Potatoes

Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.

Sautéed Vegetables

  1. 6

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell pepper, zucchini, and onion. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.

Tzatziki Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (make sure it is well-drained), minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well to combine.
