Prepare Pulled Pork
Rub the pulled pork shoulder with the same BBQ seasoning mix. Cook it in a slow cooker or smoker for approximately 8 hours at 225°F (107°C) until it shreds easily with a fork.

Making Cole Slaw

Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Cooking Hickory Pit Beans

Prepare the Beans
Soak the navy beans overnight in water. The next day, drain and rinse the beans. In a pot, combine the soaked beans, diced onion, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, salt, black pepper, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 hours until beans are tender.
