Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and chopped rosemary. Whisk together until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the Kansas City strip steaks in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for the best flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

Optional Sides

  1. 6

    Prepare Corn on the Cob

While the steaks are resting, grill or boil the corn on the cob until tender, about 10 minutes.

  2. 7

    Bake Potatoes

Wrap the baked potatoes in foil and place them in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 45 minutes or until tender.
