Beef Ribs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the crown prime beef ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the olive oil all over the ribs, then generously apply the spice mix to both sides of the ribs, ensuring that they are well coated.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Roast the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a roasting rack set inside a baking tray. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Sauce (Optional)

While the ribs are roasting, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. 5

    Glaze and Finish

Remove the foil from the ribs, brush them with the prepared sauce (if using), and return them to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize and create a nice glaze.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing between the bones. Serve warm and enjoy!
