Method

Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Prepare the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Cream Butter and Sugars

    In a large mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

    Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

    Combine Mixtures

    Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

    Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
