Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and ground cumin. Whisk together until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the beef ribs in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. Discard the marinade.

  3. 5

    Season the Ribs

Rub the olive oil over the ribs and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  4. 6

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs bone-side down on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 7

    Finish the Ribs

Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the ribs are caramelized and crispy on the outside.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve

Remove the beef ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
