Method

Preparation of Ribs

  1. 1

    Preparing the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Generously season the ribs with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper on both sides.

Making BBQ Sauce

  1. 3

    Mixing the Sauce

In a large bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Baking the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  2. 5

    Applying BBQ Sauce

During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs. Cover with foil to prevent burning.

  3. 6

    Finishing Touch

After baking, remove the foil and broil the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serving

  1. 7

    Slice and Serve

Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
