Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

If not using pre-cooked meat, cook your choice of meat (pulled pork, chicken, or beef) until tender and fully cooked. Shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for melting the cheese on the nachos.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Layer the Chips

Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter.

  2. 4

    Add Meat and Toppings

Evenly distribute the cooked meat over the chips. Then, sprinkle the shredded cheese and jalapenos on top.

Baking

  1. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Add BBQ Sauce

Once the nachos are out of the oven, drizzle the BBQ sauce over the top to taste.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Optional: Serve with sour cream, chopped green onions, and fresh cilantro on the side or sprinkled on top.

  3. 8

    Enjoy

Serve the BBQ nachos immediately while hot and enjoy!
