Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and set on paper towels to drain.

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine ground chuck beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal-sized patties.

Cook the Beef Patties
In the same skillet used for bacon, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Place a slice of swiss cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each burger bun, layer one beef patty with melted cheese, followed by crispy bacon, sautéed mushrooms, fried pickled red onions, and a tablespoon of steak sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve the steakhouse swiss burgers immediately with your favorite side.
