Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the strip steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing it thinly.

  2. 2

    Caramelize the Onions

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Slice the onion and add it to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes, or until the onions are caramelized and golden brown.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to prepare for baking the pizza.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Pizza

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the adobo marinara sauce evenly over the dough. Top with sliced strip steak, caramelized onions, and crumbled goat cheese.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.

  6. 6

    Add Finishing Touches

Once out of the oven, top the pizza with fresh arugula and drizzle with balsamic glaze before slicing and serving.
