Method

Cheesecake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until combined. Add the sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Combine and Bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust. Tap the pan lightly on the counter to remove any air bubbles. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.

  4. 4

    Chill and Serve

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, top the cheesecake with fresh berries.
