Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Massage Oil

In a bowl, mix the sweet almond oil with lavender and peppermint essential oils. Stir well to combine.

  2. 2

    Heat the Stones

Place the basalt stones in a stone warmer or a slow cooker filled with water. Heat the stones until they reach a comfortable temperature, usually around 130°F (54°C).

Massage Technique

  1. 3

    Begin the Massage

Apply a small amount of the prepared massage oil to your hands and warm it up. Start by gently massaging the client's back to relax them.

  2. 4

    Use the Heated Stones

Once the client is relaxed, use the heated stones to massage their back. Glide the stones along their muscles, applying gentle pressure. Focus on areas of tension.

  3. 5

    Finish the Massage

After using the stones, use your hands to massage any remaining oil into the client's skin, ensuring they feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
