Preparation
Make the Herbed Oil
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Slice the Tuscan loaf in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Add Cheese
Spread the herbed oil generously over the cut sides of the bread. Tear the mozzarella cheese and sprinkle it evenly over both halves. Grate the Parmigiano cheese and sprinkle it on top.
Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Serve
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
