Panna Cotta Preparation
- 1
Bloom the Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 3 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes gelatinous.

Heat the Cream Mixture
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir occasionally until the mixture is warm but not boiling.
- 3
Add Gelatin
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- 4
Pour into Molds
Divide the mixture evenly among serving cups or molds. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
