Method
Brownies
- 1
Prepare the Brownies
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, vanilla extract, and salt until just combined. Pour the batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
Bruleed Bananas
- 2
Brulee the Bananas
Slice the bananas in half lengthwise. Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet. Sprinkle granulated sugar evenly over the banana halves. Using a kitchen torch, carefully brulee the sugar until it's caramelized and bubbly. If you don't have a torch, you can place them under a broiler for a few minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
Assembly
- 3
Assemble the Potted Brownie Banana Split
In individual serving pots, place a warm brownie at the bottom. Top with a scoop of peanut butter ice cream, then drizzle with dulce de leche and chocolate fudge sauce. Finally, add the bruleed bananas on top. Serve immediately.
