Brewing Process

1

Mashing

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add malted barley and caramel malt, and let it steep for 60 minutes at a temperature of 65°C (149°F).

2

Boiling

Remove the grains and bring the liquid to a boil. Add hops and boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3

Cooling

After boiling, cool the wort quickly using an immersion chiller or an ice bath until it reaches 20°C (68°F).

4

Fermentation

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel, add yeast, and seal with an airlock. Let it ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

5

Bottling

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer before bottling to carbonate. Bottle the beer and let it sit for another 1-2 weeks.
