Parmesan Truffle Fries

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Rub the New York strip steaks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Fries

Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries. Soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat dry.

  3. 3

    Make the Steak Sauce

In a bowl, combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the dried fries with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and drizzle with truffle oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  2. 5

    Grill the Steak

Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate and Serve

Slice the grilled New York strip steak and serve it with the Parmesan truffle fries and house-made steak sauce on the side.
