Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Maple-Dijon Spread

In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup and Dijon mustard until well combined.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread the maple-Dijon mixture on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Layer the applewood smoked ham, sliced honey crisp apple, and brie cheese on one slice of bread. Top with the other slice of bread, spread side down.

  3. 3

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve with potato chips and a pickle on the side.
