Prepare the Salsa Fresca
In a medium bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, finely diced red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Toast the Sourdough
Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown and crispy.

Mash the Avocado
In a separate bowl, scoop out the avocado and mash it with a fork until creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Spread the smashed avocado evenly onto each slice of toasted sourdough. Top with a generous spoonful of salsa fresca.
