Method

Preparation of Base

  1. 1

    Juicing the Lemons

Roll the lemons on a hard surface to soften them, then cut them in half. Use a citrus juicer or reamer to extract the juice from all 4 lemons. Strain the juice into a measuring cup to remove seeds and pulp.

  2. 2

    Dissolving the Sugar

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

  3. 3

    Mixing the Base

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the cooled sugar syrup, and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to mix all ingredients evenly.

Flavor Enhancement

  1. 4

    Adding Raspberries

In a blender, puree 1 cup of fresh raspberries until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Stir the raspberry puree into the lemonade mixture in the pitcher.

  2. 5

    Mint Infusion

Add a bunch of fresh mint leaves to the lemonade mixture. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently bruise the leaves, releasing their flavor into the drink.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnishing the Drink

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the pink lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with lemon slices and a sprig of mint for presentation.

  2. 7

    Final Touches

Give the lemonade a final stir before serving. Enjoy your refreshing lite pink lemonade!
