Combine Base Ingredients
In a blender, combine 2 cups of chocolate ice cream, 1 cup of whole milk, and 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.

Blend
Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Stop to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
Serving

Pour and Garnish
Pour the chocolate shake into tall glasses. If desired, top each shake with whipped cream, a sprinkle of chocolate shavings, and a maraschino cherry on top.

Serve the chocolate shake immediately while cold and enjoy!
