Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Seafood Preparation
- 2
Sauté the Seafood
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the shrimp, scallops, and clams, cooking until the shrimp turns pink and the clams open, about 5-7 minutes.
Sauce Preparation
- 3
Create the Sauce
Once the seafood is cooked, carefully remove it from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the crushed red pepper flakes and white wine. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce by half, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
