Prepare Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a round cake pan (about 9 inches) with parchment paper and grease it lightly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

Combine Nuts and Fruits
In another bowl, mix the chopped dried figs, candied orange peel, almonds, and hazelnuts. Make sure to coat them with the flour mixture to prevent clumping.

Cook Honey and Sugar
In a small saucepan, combine honey and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is slightly bubbling.

Bake
Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is firm and slightly cracked.

Cool and Slice
Let the panforte cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cool, slice into wedges.

Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, honey, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined.

Pipe and Bake
Using a piping bag or spoon, drop small dollops of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden.

Allow the sweets to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
