Preparation of Marinated Tomatoes

Prepare the Marinade
In a medium bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil leaves, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to combine.

Marinate the Tomatoes
Cover the bowl and let the tomatoes marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
Preparing the Salad

Prepare the Arugula Salad
In a large bowl, add the arugula, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to coat the arugula.
Assembly

Assemble the Dish
On a serving platter, place the dressed arugula as a bed. Tear the fresh burrata cheese into large pieces and place it on top of the arugula.

Spoon the marinated tomatoes over the burrata cheese, ensuring an even distribution. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the top.
