Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brussel Sprouts
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Trim the ends of the brussel sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half.
- 2
Season the Sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the halved brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and Calabrese chili flakes until evenly coated.
- 3
Roast the Sprouts
Spread the brussel sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are charred and tender, stirring halfway through.
- 4
Prepare the Crispy Garlic
While the brussel sprouts are roasting, thinly slice the garlic cloves. In a small skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and cook until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
