Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method. Allow it to cool slightly.
- 2
Soak the Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger quickly into the brewed coffee, ensuring they are moistened but not soggy. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in a 9x13 inch dish.
- 3
Make the Mascarpone Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.
- 4
Whip the Heavy Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined and fluffy.
- 5
Layer the Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers in the dish. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
- 7
Serve
Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings. Slice and serve chilled.
