In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
