Marinara Sauce

  1. 2

    Make Marinara Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Manicotti

  1. 3

    Cook Manicotti Shells

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add manicotti shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.

Using a spoon or piping bag, carefully fill each manicotti shell with the cheese filling mixture prepared earlier.

  3. 5

    Assemble and Bake

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place filled manicotti shells on top, then cover with the remaining marinara sauce. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
