Prepare the Asparagus
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and wash them under cold water. Pat dry with a kitchen towel.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté the Asparagus
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the asparagus, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the asparagus is tender but still crisp.

Layer the Dish
In a baking dish, spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer half of the sautéed asparagus over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the asparagus, then sprinkle half of the grated Parmesan and half of the mozzarella on top. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients and top with bread crumbs.
