Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Allow it to cool to room temperature.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Making the Cream Mixture

Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the granulated sugar until pale and creamy, about 5 minutes.

Incorporate Mascarpone
Add the mascarpone cheese to the egg yolk mixture and gently fold until well combined.

Fold in Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Assembly

Dip Savoiardi
Briefly dip each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not mushy.

Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers on the bottom, then spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over them.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
Final Touch

Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
