Method
Cheeses Preparation
- 1
Prepare Cheeses
Select and arrange the three types of artisanal cheeses on a serving platter.
Salumi Preparation
- 2
Prepare Salumi
Slice the prosciutto, salami, and capicola into thin pieces and arrange them next to the cheeses on the platter.
House-Made Bread Preparation
- 3
Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yeast. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- 4
Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- 5
First Rise
Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 6
Shape the Bread
After the first rise, gently punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or divide it into smaller rolls.
- 7
Second Rise
Place the shaped dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover, and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- 8
Bake the Bread
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Bake the bread for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- 9
Cool the Bread
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
