Base powder (makes ~12 packets)
Flavor & texture enhancers
Single-serve packet prep (per packet; yields ~12 packets)
Method
Make the Swift Sol Blend base powder
- 1
Weigh and measure
Gather a medium bowl and a digital scale or measuring spoons. Measure all base powder ingredients (instant coffee, espresso powder, chicory if using, dry milk powder, powdered creamer, granulated sugar, powdered coconut/brown sugar, and powdered cocoa if making mocha).
- 2
Sift dry milk and creamer (optional)
Sift dry milk powder and powdered creamer through a fine mesh sieve into the bowl to remove lumps and ensure even mixing and good solubility.
- 3
Combine dry powders
Add instant coffee granules, instant espresso powder, instant chicory (if using), granulated sugar, powdered coconut/brown sugar and powdered cocoa (if using) to the bowl with the sifted milk and creamer. Sprinkle in maltodextrin, collagen/whey (if using), vanilla powder, and fine salt.
- 4
Blend thoroughly
Whisk the dry mix vigorously for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a blender or small food processor and pulse 8–12 times (10–20 seconds) until the mixture is uniform and any larger coffee granules are reduced so the powder will dissolve quickly in hot water. If you used instant coffee that is already fine, just whisk until homogeneous.
- 5
Taste-test and adjust
To test, dissolve about 2 tablespoons of the blend in 6–8 fl oz (180–240 ml) of hot water, stir well and taste. Adjust sweetness (add more sugar), creaminess (add more creamer or milk powder), or coffee strength (add a little more instant coffee or espresso powder) as desired. After adjusting, remix thoroughly.
Portion into instant packets
- 6
Calculate packet weight
The recipe quantities above produce roughly 12 single-serve packets. Weigh the total blended powder and divide by 12 to determine grams per packet (typically ~18–22 g per packet depending on ingredient density).
- 7
Portion
Using a kitchen scale or small measuring spoons, divide the blend into 12 equal portions. For spoon-measuring, each packet will be approximately 2 heaping tablespoons (adjust per your weight calculation).
- 8
Bag and seal
Place each portion into a small resealable pouch, lined foil packet, or airtight jar. If making packets to gift or sell, use heat-seal foil sachets or zip-lock sachets and remove as much air as possible to preserve flavor. Label packets with date and any variant notes (e.g., 'Mocha', 'Vanilla').
Using a Swift Sol Blend instant packet
- 9
To prepare one serving: empty one packet (about 18–22 g) into a cup. Add 180–240 ml (6–8 fl oz) of hot water (85–95°C / just off boil) for a standard cup. Stir briskly for 15–30 seconds until fully dissolved. For a stronger or iced drink: use less water (120–150 ml) for a concentrated shot, or dissolve in 60–80 ml hot water then pour over 200–250 g ice and top with cold water or milk to taste.

Storage: store packets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use within 3 months for best flavor; for longer storage, keep in sealed foil sachets with an oxygen absorber.
