Preparation of Baby Octopus

Clean the Octopus
Start by cleaning the baby octopus. Rinse them under cold water, removing any innards and beaks if necessary. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Boil the Octopus
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cleaned baby octopus and cook for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender. Drain and let them cool.

Mix the Marinade
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili flakes. Whisk together until well mixed.

Marinate the Octopus
Once the baby octopus are cool, add them to the marinade. Make sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare the Plate
On a serving plate, place a generous bed of seaweed salad in the center.

Remove the baby octopus from the marinade and arrange them on top of the seaweed salad.
