Preparing the Salad

Wash and Chop Vegetables
Rinse the iceberg lettuce under cold water, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Peel and slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Core and chop the green pepper into small pieces. Peel the carrots and grate or julienne them. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh, and slice it.

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices, green pepper pieces, grated carrots, and sliced avocado. Toss gently to mix.
Making the Ginger Dressing

Prepare the Dressing
In a small bowl, grate the fresh ginger. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined. Adjust with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembling the Salad

Dress the Salad
Drizzle the ginger dressing over the salad mixture in the bowl. Gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly with the dressing.
