Prepare the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of fresh edamame to the pot.

Boil the Edamame
Boil the edamame for about 5-6 minutes, until they are tender but still have a slight crunch.

Add Salt
During the last minute of boiling, add 1 tsp of salt to the water to flavor the edamame.

Drain and Serve
Once done, drain the edamame in a colander and rinse briefly with cold water to stop the cooking process. Serve warm or at room temperature.
