Crab Cake Balls
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Make the Crab Cake Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, egg, green onion, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Balls
Take a small amount of the crab mixture and form it into a ball, about the size of a golf ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
- 4
Fry the Crab Cake Balls
Carefully drop the crab cake balls into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Serve
Serve the fried crab cake balls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
