Pulled Pork Preparation

Season the Pork
In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this spice mix all over the pork shoulder.

Slow Roast the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Pour apple cider vinegar and water over the pork. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

Shred the Pork
Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork back to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.

Cook the Potatoes
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook until they are golden brown and tender, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Combine with Pulled Pork and Sauce
Stir in the shredded pulled pork and chili verde sauce into the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded jack cheese over the top of the hash. Cover the skillet and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
