Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Start by gathering all your ingredients. Make sure your Champagne or sparkling wine is chilled, as this will enhance the refreshment of your Mimosas.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
If you're using whole oranges, cut them in half and juice them until you have about 2 cups of fresh orange juice. Strain the juice if you prefer a pulp-free drink.
- 3
Mix the Juice and Champagne
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice and the bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine. Pour the juice first and then add the Champagne to preserve the bubbles.
- 4
Adjust Sweetness (Optional)
If you like your Mimosas a little sweeter, stir in granulated sugar to taste. Start with one tablespoon and adjust according to your preference.
- 5
Serve the Mimosas
Pour the mixture gently into champagne flutes, filling each glass about halfway to allow for the bubbles. Be careful not to overflow.
- 6
Garnish
Slice the remaining fresh oranges into rounds or wedges and place them on the rim of each glass for an elegant touch.
