Cooking the Chicken

Prepare the Chicken
Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add Broth and Cream
Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and dried thyme. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Thicken the Sauce
Allow the sauce to simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.

Return Chicken to Skillet
Add the seared chicken breasts back to the skillet. Coat the chicken in the sauce and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
