Method

Preparing the Pork Tenderloin

  1. 1

    Trim and Pound the Pork

Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin. Place it between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound it to about 1/2 inch thick using a meat mallet.

  2. 2

    Season the Flour

In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Coat the Pork

Dredge the pounded pork tenderloin in the seasoned flour, ensuring it is evenly coated on both sides.

Frying the Pork

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  2. 5

    Fry the Pork

Carefully place the coated pork tenderloin in the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Drain the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 7

    Prepare the Bun

Slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly if desired.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, tomato slices, and dill pickles.

  3. 9

    Add the Pork and Condiments

Place the fried pork tenderloin on top of the toppings. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the top half of the bun, then place it on top.
