Method

Prepare Pancake Batter

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Both Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; be careful not to overmix. Some lumps are okay.

Cook Pancakes

  1. 4

    Preheat Skillet

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can add a small amount of butter to grease the surface.

  2. 5

    Cook Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges appear set, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 6

    Flip Pancakes

Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

Serve

  1. 7

    Add Toppings

Stack the pancakes on plates and top with your choice of sliced bananas, blueberries, sliced strawberries, or diced cinnamon apples.

  2. 8

    Drizzle Maple Syrup

Finish by drizzling maple syrup over the pancakes and serve immediately.
